DESCRIPTION: An uncommon fungus that is generally seen as a white powdery coating that grows on the lower side of the host plant's leaves as well as the stems. This growth can cause swelling and distortion. SPORES: The basidiospores are fusoid, hyaline and measure 5 - 8µm by 1 - 2µm. HABITAT: On the leaves and stems of Bilberry. SEASON: Summer to autumn.
